Ourika Valley Day Trip from Marrakech

After having breakfast in your Riad/hotel in Marrakech, your private driver/guide will pick you up from your accommodation at 09 am and embark for an interesting Ourika Valley day trip through which you can enjoy the immense beauty of nature and the unique cultural lifestyle of the “Berbers” Amazigh people who inhabit the mountains.

The Ourika Valley starts after 30 kms drive from Marrakech as you will be surprised by the lush valley filled with olive trees, cherries, apples and other produce. We will include a short break in a “Berber” house where you can learn about their unique lifestyle with the possibility to share a mint tea with them. We will include many short breaks for you to take pictures as the views are irresistible with the ever-flowing river of Ourika, the lush mountains and the “Berber” Village that are built-in adobe and stones.

Once we arrive in the village of Setti Fatma, you may want to have a soft hike up to the waterfalls enjoying the beauty of nature with almond, pine, apple trees are all around. If you are lucky you can spot the endangered Barbary Macaques that reside in the forest. Later, you can enjoy a nice lunch under the sunlight by the river, which is a unique experience you should include in your schedule.

In the late afternoon, we will drive back to Marrakech and we will make sure to get you to your accommodation.
